Localizing Diceweaver

Diceweaver is ready to be translated into your local language! However, we need your help to do so!

There is a public git hub repository set up for our message files: Diceweaver Messages.

There are two directories in the repository: client and server.

• client files are for the website. This is the general interface that people interact with.
• server files are sent by the node backend. These are usually messages sent by the server - errors, successes, and some UI values.

To add a new language, simply create a new file with the language code in the directory, copy the contents from messages-en.json into it, and then change the message key values. For example, if you wanted to create the French language files (fr), you would copy messages-en.json to message-fr.json.

Where you see numbered parameters ($1, $2, etc.) these are arguments passed to the string.

Create a pull request for changes. Changes are merged into the mainline periodically, so will not become immediately visible.
