Aloha! We're Glad You're Here!
Diceweaver is an online platform and community for playing tabletop role-playing games anywhere, anytime, and with anyone!
Your Profile
Get to your profile page by clicking your username (or your avatar). Click "Edit Profile" in the sidebar to make changes. You can change your avatar or background image from your profile as well.
A Note on Privacy
By default, your Diceweaver account is set to private for your protection. You may want to change some of your privacy settings.
Rather than trying to duplicate a physical character sheet, Diceweaver is designed around a model where you inhabit your characters and your character sheet is a series of intuitive menus and flyout controls.

Finding your Friends
Use the profile search to find your friends. You can always find usernames. Other fields may only be readable based on privacy settings.
Searching for an email address will allow you to send them an invitation to join Diceweaver if they do not already have an account.
Your Circle is a group of people that you trust. Including someone in your Circle allows them to access to your full profile and the ability to interact with you, regardless of your privacy settings.
If your profile is private, only those you include in your Circle are able to see your profile (including your avatar - only your cloak will be visible to them).
Circle inclusion is permissive. Think of it as the opposite of a "block" list.
A Tabletop is a group of people who are playing a Game together. Tabletops typically have a focus story, called a campaign, that serves as the main plot for the Players and the Storyteller.
If a friend has already founded a Tabletop you wish to join, you can search for it by name. You may have already gotten an invitation! Check your email.
You must be invited to join a Tabletop - you can't automatically join one. Request an invitation and the Tabletop's Storyteller will be notified and approve or deny your request.
The Storyteller
A Tabletop's Storyteller is the member that is generally in charge with running the game.
"Storyteller" is a role: they are the person who manages the Tabletop's membership, creates the story, manages non-player characters, Boards, Catalogs, Documents, and so forth - pretty much everything.
The Storyteller usually chooses the Game and founds the Tabletop.
Founding a Tabletop
If you can't find an existing Tabletop to join, creating your own is easy!
The "Create Tabletop" dialog will ask you to name your Tabletop and select the Game that you wish to play. You can filter, search, or browse the list of Games.
Once you've picked a Game to play and selected a name, your next stop is the Tabletop's profile page, where you will be given the chance to invite other players to your Tabletop.
